I've been wanting to finish up the wall in the dining room, as well as a couple of other projects I've been putting off. I found this girl that makes and sells vinyl lettering for WAY less expensive than the place I normally buy it. It's just as nice, she did it exactly how I wanted it, it was ordered and received in a day AND all of it only cost $6. Whoohoo!!

I finally put up the last picture for our picture wall. On the wall of the landing in between our stairs I wanted to hang up pictures. I wanted to put of pictures of places that we have been and/or places that are important to us.

I bought this cereal for an activity for my kindergartners today. Then, since I forgot my lunch, I decided to eat some of it for lunch. I haven't had this cereal in ages, but eating it sure brought back memories. I will always remember going to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Mouritsen in Utah. One thing my grandma always had was this jar on her counter filled with orange slices. Another thing she had frequently was Alpha-bits cereal. It made me happy to be reminded of them.

I had just finished a load of laundry and Andy was putting it into dryer. All of a sudden he shouts...then the smoke alarms go off. Apparently he started the dryer, turned off the light and noticed an orange flame coming out from under the dryer. Perfect.
After the smoke subsided, we had to find various places to hang all the clothes.

My parents bought us webcams for Christmas so that we can "see" each other more often. Tonight we had our 1st webcam chat. It was a lot of just being silly, but a great way to keep us in touch with each other. I love my family!

I was driving home from a class tonight and the sunset was just AMAZING. I hurried home as fast as I could and grabbed my camera. By the time I got somewhere that wasn't blocked by houses, it had faded quite a bit. The picture doesn't even do it justice. I LOVE amazing sunsets.

I babysat my nephew Erik today.
One of the things I love most about children is the joy they get from the smallest things. He stood here throwing rocks into this bush for the longest time.
